The new Orkney collection for Morris & Co. by Freespirit curates designs inspired by the incredible talents of May Morris, daughter of William and one of the most influential figures in English embroidery. May’s beautiful designs and distinctive style has been carefully captured and redrawn by the Morris & Co. studio to create a stunning new collection. The moody, wild, seasonally changing landscape of the Orkney isles, isolated from mainland Scotland by the bracing North Sea, was harnessed by the Morris & Co. studio as inspiration for the colour palette and title of this collection.
