The Record Quilt

This quilt was made using the Kaffe Fasset 10" charm pack citrus, fabric from the Raise the Volume collection from Art Gallery Fabric and also a variety of grey solids from Art Gallery Fabrics. This design makes me think of our record collection and the important roll music plays in my life. Everyone in our family plays and instrument and my youngest is pursuing music full time. Check out his latest release Smoke by Cole Dine.  I am still in learning mode when it comes to free motion quilting but "practice makes perfect" , and some imperfection make for a more interesting quilt , right?
